WHY CAN'T FIND THE PRINTER

FOR WINDOWS :

Situation: When you install the driver for the first time, it keeps searching for a long time but finds nothing next.

 

Reason: Unprepared printer 

Check if the printer is turned on(and you have heard three consecutive beeps)and the USB is connected to the printer (if the driver is installed via USB).

Please follow the steps below to restart:

(1) Close the driver.

(2) Unplug and plug the USB cable into the same port of your computer. 

(3) Turn off your printer, turn it on, and wait for it to consecutively beep 3 times to get ready.

(4) Click to reinstall the driver.

 

 

FOR MAC :

Situation: 

When you add your new printer after you installed the driver on your Mac successfully, you can not find a printer in the device list. 

Reason: Unprepared printer 

Check if the printer is turned on(and you have heard three consecutive beeps) and the USB is connected to the printer (if the driver is installed via USB).

Follow the steps below to restart:

(1) Unplug and plug the USB cable into the same port of your computer. 

(2) Turn off your printer, turn it on, and wait for its three consecutive beeps to get ready.

 

Reason: Forget to add the printer model after driver installation

(1) Make sure your printer is turned on, connected to the USB cable, and you have installed the driver successfully.

(2) Go to ‘System Preferences’-> ‘Printers & Scanners’-> click"+"-> Choose ‘E40 PRO’-> Click ‘Select software’ under ‘Use’-> Find ‘E40 PRO’-> Click ‘OK’-> Click ‘Add’
